fragile bracelet 2006

designed as a give-away for design academy eindhoven. the porcelain image is attached to the metal with soluable thread, that will slowly dissolve when in contact with fluids, such as perspiration. the receiver of this give-away has a choice; whether to leave it in its box, or to wear it: thus eventually causing it to break.
